What to Do

Take Care of It Now

There are a couple of concerns that apply to injuries and the human body.

First: Nothing coasts on a level.

Second: Gravity is relentless.

Though the body is an amazing mechanism at healing itself, there are limits to its ability to overcome injury. The longer an injury remains unresolved, the more it succumbs to the forces of gravity, and the more progressively it fails. Body will learn to cope with the injuries to joints, muscles, and nerves, but will gradually form scar tissue if the injury remains unaddressed. Over time, scar tissue calcifies, turning to bone, further restricting the function the body was meant to have.

This is why taking care of an injury early, giving it time to heal around the solution, instead of trying to heal around the problem, is so important.
